  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, beef mixture, sour cream, and cream of mushroom soup.
  • Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
