  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup white rice, uncooked
  • 1 ½ cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until soft.
  • Add ground beef, cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Stir in uncooked rice, beef broth, milk, cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Bring to a slight simmer, then transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil, stir, and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
