Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the chicken in the Crock Pot.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts in the Crock Pot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. Once cooked, garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve with rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sear the chicken breasts in a skillet for 2-3 minutes per side before adding them to the Crock Pot.
  • You can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream for a lighter sauce.
  • Add a splash of white wine or a dash of red pepper flakes for an extra depth of flavor.
