  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 cups uncooked rotini pasta
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Instructions

  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened.
  • Stir in marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a greased slow cooker, layer half of the uncooked pasta, half of the meat sauce, and half of the cheese.
  • Repeat layers, topping with pepperoni slices.
  • Pour 1 1/2 cups water over the top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until pasta is tender.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
