Ingredients
Scale
12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
12 slices cheddar cheese
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
Slice the slider buns in half, keeping them connected as a sheet. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
Spread mayonnaise evenly on the bottom buns. Layer the roast beef and cheddar cheese on top. Cover with the top buns.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, garlic powder, and onion powder. Brush this mixture generously over the top buns.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, toast the inside of the buns slightly before assembling.
Feel free to add sliced jalapeños for a spicy kick or caramelized onions for added sweetness.
Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven to retain crispness.
