  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 cup crab meat (lump or imitation)

  • 1 cup cooked rice

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

  • 1/2 cup chopped celery

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional topping)

  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a large bowl, combine shrimp, crab, rice, cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, soup, celery, onion, Old Bay, and pepper.

  • Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

  • In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over casserole.

  • Bake for 30–35 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.

 

  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute the crab with more shrimp or white fish.

  • Add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra brightness.
