Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

  • 8 oz pasta (linguine, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta: Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with paprika, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook until golden brown and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Prepare the Creamy Parmesan Sauce: Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Combine Everything: Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Return the chicken bites to the pan and mix well.
  • Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste and add extra red pepper flakes for more heat.
  • You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
