Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Crust:
    • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Filling:
    • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
    • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
    • 1 packet (3 oz) orange gelatin mix
    • 1/4 cup boiling water
    • 1 tbsp orange zest
    • 1/2 cup orange juice

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
  • Prepare the Filling: Dissolve the orange gelatin mix in 1/4 cup of boiling water, set aside to cool.
  • In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla extract, orange zest, and orange juice, mixing until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Gradually add the cooled orange gelatin mixture into the filling, stirring until smooth.
  • Pour the filling over the prepared crust and smooth the top.
  • Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set. Garnish with whipped cream and additional orange zest before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra burst of orange flavor, add a few drops of orange extract.
  • Ensure the gelatin mixture is cool before adding to avoid curdling the cream cheese mixture.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
