Ingredients
Scale
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced)
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz egg noodles
½ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then bring to a simmer. Add egg noodles and cook until tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and return the cooked chicken to the pan. Mix well until the sauce thickens.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for an even quicker meal.
Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
