Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Toothpicks (to secure the chicken)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Butterfly each chicken breast by slicing through the middle without cutting all the way through.
  4. Stuff each chicken breast with the cheese mixture and secure with toothpicks.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the stuffed chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked.
  7. Remove from the oven, discard the toothpicks, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, brush the chicken with melted butter before baking.
  • Serve with garlic mashed potatoes or a side salad for a complete meal.
