  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 (5 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix

  • 1 ½ cups cold milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade)

  • 4 bananas, sliced

  • 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, sliced

  • 1 box vanilla wafer cookies

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.

  2. Add sweetened condensed milk and mix until well combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk pudding mix with cold milk and vanilla extract until thickened.

  4. Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture.

  5. Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth and fluffy.

  6. In a trifle dish or 9x13 pan, layer vanilla wafers, banana slices, strawberry slices, and pudding mixture.

  7. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with pudding on top.

  8. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Best served chilled. Use firm but ripe bananas to prevent browning. Can be made a day ahead.
