Ingredients
Scale
12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
1 lb beef sirloin or ground beef
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup unsalted butter
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp Italian seasoning
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream, stirring continuously. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir until smooth.
Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Add mushrooms and spinach if using. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Toss in the cooked pasta and mix well to coat with Alfredo sauce.
Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Use sirloin or ground beef for different textures.
Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
Add vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers for extra nutrients.
