This beef stir-fry with noodles and sticky sauce is a perfect combination of tender beef, fresh veggies, and a sweet-savory sauce. A quick and easy meal that’s better than takeout!
8 oz (225g) egg noodles
1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
2 cloves garlic, minced
1-inch piece ginger, grated
2 tbsp water
1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
2 green onions, sliced
Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a bowl, mix beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce and cornstarch; let marinate for 10 minutes.
In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and water.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the beef until browned, then remove.
Add the remaining oil, garlic, and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
Toss in bell pepper and broccoli; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
Return beef to the pan and pour in the sauce; cook until thickened.
Add the noodles, tossing everything together.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot!
Swap beef for chicken or tofu for a different variation.
Adjust spice level by adding red pepper flakes or sriracha.
Use rice noodles or udon for variety.
