Made with ground beef, onion soup mix, and a rich, flavorful gravy, the meatballs are slow-cooked to perfection. The crockpot does all the work, allowing the flavors to meld while you go about your day. Serve over mashed potatoes, pasta, or as an appetizer for your next gathering.

Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • Lipton onion soup mix (or any dry onion soup mix)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Egg
  • Milk
  • Garlic powder
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Beef broth
  • Cream of mushroom soup
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Make Meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined, then form into small meatballs.
  • Brown Meatballs: (Optional) Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides. This step adds flavor but can be skipped for convenience.
  • Prepare Sauce: In the crockpot, mix beef broth and cream of mushroom soup until smooth.
  • Slow Cook: Place the meatballs in the crockpot, coating them with the sauce. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot as an appetizer or over your favorite side.

Notes

  • You can add sliced mushrooms to the crockpot for extra texture and flavor.
  • For a creamier sauce, stir in some sour cream during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
