This Cheeseburger Sliders recipe is a fun, easy-to-make dish featuring mini beef patties, melted cheese, and classic burger toppings. Perfect for parties, game day, or family dinners, these sliders are sure to be a hit!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Burger toppings: pickles, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, onions (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Season the beef:
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape and cook the beef:
Press the seasoned ground beef evenly into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked.
  • Drain the fat:
Remove the cooked beef from the oven and carefully drain any excess fat. Cut the beef into 12 square portions, roughly the size of the slider buns.
  • Assemble the sliders:
Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a clean 9x13-inch baking dish. Place each beef patty on a bun and top with a slice of cheddar cheese. Add any desired toppings like pickles, onions, or lettuce.
  • Top the sliders:
Place the top halves of the buns over the sliders. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if using.
  • Bake:
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are warm and golden.
  • Serve hot and enjoy these delicious sliders with your favorite sides like fries or coleslaw.

Notes

  • Customize your sliders with any cheese and toppings you like, such as American cheese, bacon, or sautéed onions.
  • You can prepare the beef patties ahead of time and bake just before serving.
