2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
2 cups cooked white rice
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots (optional)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, rice, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
If using, fold in the frozen peas and carrots for added veggies.
Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
