Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the ground beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet. Break it up with a spoon and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Assemble the sliders: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them attached. Place the bottom half of the buns on a baking sheet or in a baking dish.
  • Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the bottom buns, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Cover with the top half of the buns.
  • Brush melted butter over the tops of the buns and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  • Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add pickles or a slice of tomato before serving.
  • To make ahead, prepare the sliders and store in the fridge until ready to bake.
  • Customize with your favorite cheese or toppings to suit your taste.
