4 cups water
4 black tea bags
1 cup fresh or frozen cherries (pitted)
1/2 cup sugar (or honey/maple syrup as preferred)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Ice cubes
Fresh cherries and mint (optional, for garnish)
Boil Water: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Steep Tea: Add black tea bags and steep for 5–7 minutes. Remove tea bags.
Add Flavor: Add cherries, sugar, and cinnamon. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Mash Cherries: Lightly mash cherries to release flavor.
Strain & Cool: Strain mixture into a pitcher, discard solids. Let cool.
Add Vanilla: Stir in vanilla extract.
