Ingredients

  • 4 cups water

  • 4 black tea bags

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries (pitted)

  • 1/2 cup sugar (or honey/maple syrup as preferred)

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

  • Ice cubes

  • Fresh cherries and mint (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil Water: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

  2. Steep Tea: Add black tea bags and steep for 5–7 minutes. Remove tea bags.

  3. Add Flavor: Add cherries, sugar, and cinnamon. Simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Mash Cherries: Lightly mash cherries to release flavor.

  5. Strain & Cool: Strain mixture into a pitcher, discard solids. Let cool.

  6. Add Vanilla: Stir in vanilla extract.

  7. Chill & Serve: Refrigerate until cold. Serve over ice with optional garnish.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness to taste.

  • For a stronger cherry flavor, infuse longer or use cherry juice.
