  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and place the chicken breasts in a single layer.
  • In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Spread this mixture evenly over the chicken.
  • In another bowl, prepare the stuffing mix according to package instructions, using chicken broth instead of water.
  • Spread the prepared stuffing over the chicken and soup mixture. Drizzle melted butter over the stuffing.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the stuffing is golden.
  • Optionally, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the stuffing during the last 10 minutes of baking.
