2 tbsp butter, softened
¼ cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 eggs
¼ cup milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp butter (for cooking)
¼ cup granulated sugar
½ tsp cinnamon (for coating)
Maple syrup (for serving)
Instructions
Flatten each bread slice with a rolling pin.
Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter; spread over bread slices.
Roll up each slice tightly and set aside.
In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
Dip roll-ups in the egg mixture, coating all sides.
Cook roll-ups in the skillet, turning until golden brown on all sides.
Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon, then roll warm roll-ups in the mixture.
