Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until combined.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Mix 1/4 cup granulated sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over the batter.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
