2 lbs ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 large eggs
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
For the glaze: 1/3 cup ketchup, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp mustard
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a greased baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard to make the glaze. Spread evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, sauté the onions before mixing them in.
Serve with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies for a complete meal.
