Classic Peanut Butter Blossoms are a timeless cookie favorite, featuring soft, chewy peanut butter cookies crowned with a chocolate Hershey's Kiss. These delicious treats are easy to bake and perfect for holiday gatherings or anytime you crave a peanut butter-chocolate combination.

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Extra granulated sugar (for rolling)
  • 48 chocolate kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  • Add egg and vanilla, beat until smooth.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then roll each in sugar.
  • Place balls on ungreased baking sheets, bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Cool on wire racks.

Notes

For extra chewy cookies, slightly underbake them and allow the residual heat to finish cooking them.

You can substitute chocolate kisses with mini peanut butter cups for a variation.
