Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (linguine, spaghetti, or your choice)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, then add Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
  • Return shrimp to the skillet and toss in the sauce. Add the cooked pasta and mix to coat evenly.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes
