Enjoy this irresistible Crispy Hot Honey Feta Chicken recipe! Juicy chicken breasts coated with crispy panko, drizzled with spicy hot honey, and complemented by creamy feta — a perfect balance of flavors and textures that will elevate your dinner table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 cup hot honey (plus extra for serving)

  • Olive oil or neutral oil for frying

  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the breading station: In one bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs and crumbled feta.

  2. Coat the chicken: Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, dip into the beaten eggs, and coat with the feta-panko mixture. Press gently to ensure the coating sticks.

  3. Fry the chicken: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. Add hot honey: Drizzle hot honey over the crispy chicken while still warm.

  5. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with extra hot honey on the side.

Notes

  • You can adjust the hot honey quantity based on your spice tolerance.

  • For extra crispiness, bake the chicken briefly at 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes after frying.
