This easy chicken noodle casserole recipe combines tender chicken, egg noodles, and a creamy sauce for the ultimate comfort meal. Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or cubed)
  • 4 cups cooked egg noodles
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
  • 2 tbsp butter (for breadcrumbs)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine chicken, egg noodles, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, and cheese. Mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a small skillet, melt butter and mix with breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this topping over the casserole (optional).
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
