  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 cup Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or baking sheet.
  • In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, bell pepper, crackers, cheese, eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Shape into a loaf and place in the pan.
  • In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread over the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
