  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the glaze:

  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard to create the glaze.
  5. Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf. Reserve the rest for later.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes, then spread the remaining glaze over the meatloaf.
  7. Bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
