  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup white wine or chicken broth
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions (if using). Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Pour in white wine (or broth) and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in remaining butter and parsley. Toss with cooked pasta if using.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with Parmesan cheese.
