  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta and ground beef sauce. Stir in sour cream if using.
  • Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
