  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen hash browns
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, mix together hash browns, soup, sour cream, 1 cup cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread half of the hash brown mixture in the baking dish, layer with ground beef, then top with the remaining hash brown mixture.
