Rainbow M&M cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with vibrant candy-coated chocolate pieces. This delicious cookie recipe is easy to make, using basic ingredients like butter, sugar, flour, and colorful M&Ms. Perfect for parties, special occasions, or everyday treats, these cookies bring fun and flavor to every bite.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups rainbow M&M candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in M&M candies.
  7. Scoop cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets and flatten slightly.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden. Let cool before serving.

Notes

For extra color, press additional M&Ms onto the tops of the cookies before baking.

Make sure to slightly underbake for softer centers.
