  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for cheesecake)
  • 1 egg (for cheesecake)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x9 baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and red food coloring.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, followed by white vinegar.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, and salt. Fold into the wet mixture.
  5. Pour 3/4 of the batter into the baking pan.
  6. For the cheesecake, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter. Swirl gently with a knife.
  8. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl again.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
