This Shrimp Scampi with Pasta recipe features juicy shrimp sautéed in a garlic butter and white wine sauce, tossed with perfectly cooked pasta for a quick, flavorful meal. It's an easy seafood dinner ideal for weeknights or special occasions.

  • 12 oz linguine or spaghetti

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.

  3. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute.

  4. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

  5. Pour in white wine and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes.

  6. Toss in the cooked pasta and parsley. Mix well to coat.

  7. Serve hot, topped with Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • Substitute wine with chicken broth if preferred.

  • Use fresh or frozen (thawed) shrimp.

  • Adjust red pepper flakes to taste.
