Enjoy the perfect summer seafood recipe with these Garlic Butter Lobster Tails. Succulent lobster is broiled and brushed with a rich garlic butter sauce, ideal for special occasions or an elegant outdoor meal.
4 lobster tails (about 5–6 oz each)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Preheat oven broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with foil.
Use kitchen scissors to cut the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise. Gently pull the meat out, keeping it attached at the base.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Place the lobster tails on the baking sheet and brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the meat.
Broil the lobster tails for 8–10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly browned on top.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
For even more flavor, baste the lobster tails once during broiling.
Can be served with grilled vegetables or a light pasta dish.
Make sure not to overcook the lobster to prevent it from becoming rubbery.
