4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste
Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, and garlic.
Place cod fillets in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
