4 cups watermelon, cubed and deseeded
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 3–4 lemons)
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
1 cup cold water
Ice cubes (as needed)

Lemon slices (for garnish)
Add the watermelon cubes to a blender and blend until smooth.
Strain the watermelon juice through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove pulp (optional).
