  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
  • Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, avoiding browning.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 2–3 minutes.
  • Gradually mix in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Add black pepper, salt, and chili flakes if desired.
  • Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to reach the desired consistency.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
