This Cracker Barrel Meatloaf recipe recreates the comforting, homestyle flavors of the famous restaurant. Made with ground beef, fresh veggies, breadcrumbs, and a tangy glaze, this dish is perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, bell pepper, crushed Ritz crackers, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared pan.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard for the glaze.
  • Spread the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  • Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can sauté the onion and bell pepper before mixing them in.
  • Substitute Ritz crackers with breadcrumbs if desired.
