This healthy chicken and broccoli stir fry is a delicious, quick, and easy meal packed with lean protein and fresh vegetables. Made with tender chicken breast, crisp broccoli, and a savory stir-fry sauce, it's a perfect choice for a nutritious and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced thin
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds & green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the remaining oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until fragrant.
  • Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  • Return the chicken to the pan.
  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry. Pour over the chicken and broccoli.
  • Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Serve over brown rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice for a healthier option.
  • Adjust spice level by adding more red pepper flakes or sriracha.

  • Use tamari instead of soy sauce for a gluten-free version.
