These irresistible Philly Cheese Steak Sliders are easy to prepare and packed with flavor, featuring juicy beef, sautéed bell peppers and onions, and gooey melted cheese in soft slider buns. Ideal for game day or casual parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs thinly sliced beef sirloin
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until the beef is no longer pink, about 4-5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add sliced onion and bell peppers. Sauté until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-6 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute. Return the cooked beef to the skillet, stir in Worcestershire sauce, and mix well.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet. Evenly distribute the beef and vegetable mixture over the buns. Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of each slider, then cover with the top halves of the buns.
  5. Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use high-quality beef sirloin for the best texture and flavor.
  • You can prepare the beef and veggie mixture in advance for quicker assembly.
  • Substitute provolone with mozzarella if preferred.
